Prep Hoops action continues from the Carolinas Cup in Spartanburg, SC
Ahmad Brown (2020) Ashley Ridge HS Summerville Hawks
Brown 6’3 forward excels in the open floor game. Brown is quick off the dribble. Brown looked to score the ball today by attacking the basket. Brown scored 23 points in the loss to 3D hoops.
Trenton Jordan (2020) Northside Christian (Columbia) 3D Hoops
Jordan 5’8 point guard is a hard nose defender. Jordan will pop out for three and will go to basket for the easy look. Jordan scored 23 points in the win over Summerville Hawks.
Ty Walker (2020) Northside Christian (Columbia) 3D Hoops
Walker is a quick guard with even quicker hands. Walker can shoot the ball from anywhere on the floor. Walker scored 15 points in the win.
Reggie Crocker (2020) Boiling-Springs HS – Upward Stars Upstate-Blue 15u (picture on the front)
Crocker 6’4 forward is always around the glass to grab the rebound. Crawford has a great wingspan. Crocker uses his length to his advantage. Crocker can defend out on the perimeter. Crocker scored 24 points in a win over SC Clippers 2020.
Emmanuel McClain (2020) Military Magnet – Carolina Cavaliers
McClain is a bit of a rim protector for the Carolina Cavaliers. McClain plays football and basketball at Military Magnet. McClain scores the ball around the basket or extends it to the mid-range. McClain’s mom is Katrina McClain Johnson who played on the 1996 USA Olympic team, Naismith Hall of Fame member. McClain-Johnson played at the University of Georgia. McClain scored 24 points in the loss to the Blazers.
Tyreik Priestley (2021) Newberry M.S. – Carolina Blazers
Priestley 6’5 post player. Priestley got into little foul trouble early today for the Carolina Blazers. Priestley had 10 rebounds in the win against Carolina Cavaliers. Priestley will enter his freshman season this year at Newberry HS. Priestley will be a kid to monitor in the years to come from the Palmetto State.
