Big Shots : Karolina Khaos Update
Prep Hoops took in the action at Big Shots – Team Felton this weekend in Greensboro, NC. Here in this article we have some notes from the event.
Na’Zae Baltimore wasn’t in attendance with Carolina Pressure after suffering a injury recently. Baltimore 2019 post player from Aiken HS has had a great spring.
Karolina Khaos 16U had some new faces playing yesterday. The Karolina Khaos 16U had 5 players from the Carolina Wolves in Jordan Burch, Allen Williamson, Trae Hannibal, Bradley Foulks and Jahnarious Snell.
Jamontay Williams (2018) was playing with the Karolina Khaos 17U. The Karolina Khaos 17U had several players not in attendance. Sharone Wright Jr, Winston Hill, Dontrell Shuler and Juan Perez all were not here for the Karolina Khaos. Williams a Wilson HS (Florence) product came over from the Carolina Wolves. Hill out with a injury while Shuler was attending his brother’s graduation from Oak Hill Academy (VA).
Wright Jr. recently committed to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Wright Jr. is uncertain to where he will be playing basketball this coming fall after deciding he won’t return to West Florence HS for his senior season.
The Karolina Khaos 16U cruised in there opening round win 74-33. Kenyatta Jenkins (2019) started the game off with scoring the first 10 points of the game for a quick 10-0 lead. Kojack Thompson (2019) was just masterful with his great basketball knowledge and crisp passing all day long. Thompson originally from Greenville, SC played this past season at The Christ School in Arden, NC.
Dallaz Corbitt (2019) told Prep Hoops he plans on returning to 22 Feet Academy this coming fall. Corbitt 6’6 started off his high school career at Keenan HS.
The Karolina Khaos 16U were without Darius Williams, Darius Taylor and Marlon “OJ” Hill this weekend.
The Karolina Khaos organization will play next weekend in the Adidas Gauntlet Series in Cartersville, GA. The event will be held at the brand new state of the art LakePoint Champions Center.
