2019 stock risers
Class of 2019 spring stock risers
Several players have taken their games to new heights this spring and here, PrepHoops Kansas takes a look at the players who have raised their stock in the 2019 class.
Levi Braun, 6’3, G, Hayden (SSA Elite)
Braun has taken over much of the point guard duties this spring for SSA Elite and has excelled as its lead guard. He has a good handle and changes pace well, and can also find open teammates and shoot from the outside.
Brett Chapple, 6’4, F, Lawrence (SSA Elite)
One of the better all-around players in the Kansas’ 2019 class, Chapple brings intensity and defensive versatility to the court. He’s capable of guarding multiple positions at a high level and does the little things that don’t always show up in the box score.
D’Monte Gaw, 6’2, G, Schlagel (Team Rush)
After helping lead Schlagle to the Class 5A state championship game, Gaw has put together a strong spring while playing for KC Team Rush. He is an athletic 6’2 guard with handle and the ability to break down a defense and get into the lane and make plays.
Malik Hall, 6’7, 2019, SF, Sunrise Christian (MoKan Elite)
Playing up with the 17U squad on the Nike EYBL circuit this spring, Hall has turned heads with his athleticism and all-around play. Hall has good size for a wing, can handle the ball and shoot from distance. He is averaging 10.2 points per game, good for second on the team, and 6.2 rebounds per game, also second on the team.
Clarence King, 6’3, PG, Lawrence (KC Run GMC)
King has drawn rave reviews for his play this spring, averaging 6.9 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. King has good size for a point guard and brings terrific leadership skills to the court.
Jeremiah Robinson, 6’9, F, Bishop Miege (KC Run GMC)
Continues to be among the spring’s top performers, nearly averaging a double-double and has picked up several new offers, including the University of Missouri. He is shooting 66 percent from the field in eight UAA games for KC Run GMC and leads the team with 22 blocked shots in eight contests.
