Outlook: Team Arsenal is off to an excellent start during the grassroots season. They advanced to the championship game at the Adidas All-American Tournament in St. Louis and followed up with a 4-0 record at the first session of the And 1 DTG Circuit in Chicago, IL. They are a good all-around unit with good guard play and versatile front court players who can create matchup problems. Aslesen is an excellent combo guard who can really shoot the basketball. Goodwin can also shoot the ball and facilitate the offense from the point. Ritter and Andrews provide perimeter shooting from the wing while Muhammad is an athletic wing player who excels on both ends of the floor. Up front, Montgomery and Hicks are talented combo forwards who can cause matchup problems. Montgomery is an excellent offensive rebounder with a nice high post game while Hicks can create off the dribble and score in the post. Buford is a big-body post who can step out and shoot the 3-pointer who score in the lane.
