TMP (Trademark Properties) dates back to 2009 in the Port City. This seasons TMP team could be the
deepest team they have ever had in talent with up to maybe 7 division one players on the roster.
Eight players rank in the 2018 and 2019 classes on Prep Hoops South Carolina.
Aaron Nesmith recently was kept out of action for TMP last weekend at Big Shots – Columbia. Nesmith
is ranked #3 in the Prep Hoops Top 80. Nesmith a strong student in the classroom has received
offers from Wofford, Furman, Harvard, William & Mary, Columbia,Winthrop
College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Duquesne, Charleston Southern and Austin Peay according to
TMP Head Antoine Saunders.
Jake Lanford
Jake Lanford 6’9 center likes to play the game in the paint and draws a a lot of contact in the process.
Lanford is ranked #12 in the Prep Hoops Top 80. Cal Poly, North Florida University, Georgia Southern, Wofford,
Furman, Winthrop and Austin Peay have all extended scholarship offers to the Porter Gaud post player.
Josiah James
Josiah James (2019) 6’6 guard plays up on the 17U team. James a left-handed guard plays the game
with so much poise and shows a great basketball mind. James has had plenty of recruitment over the past
year. Mercer, Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Clemson and Texas A&M.
have all offered James scholarship offers. James won a SCISA 3A State Championship this past season
with Lanford and Nesmith. James is ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops South Carolina 2019 class.
Shaquan Davis (pictured on front) is a ultra-athletic player around the rim. Davis has great leaping
ability and attempts to block everything on the defensive end. Davis a wide receiver on the football field
is ranked #20 in the Prep Hoops Top 80. Murray State and Presbyterian have shown interest in Davis
this spring according to Saunders.
Jalen Slawson
Harrison Whatley, Jalen Slawson, Ephraim Butler, Tyrek Epps and Chris Fordham all will
benefit with a strong spring and summer showing on the AAU circuit. Whatley a face-up 4 man has
received interest from Army and Hampton Sydney (VA) this season according to Saunders.
Ephraim Butler
Butler a point guard has received interest from Coastal Carolina University, North Carolina A&T and Georgia Southern this spring.
Look for TMP to have a strong spring and summer AAU campaign. This TMP is the deepest team I’ve seen in
my 13 years in the Palmetto State. Stay connected to all the latest action right here at Prep Hoops.
