The Lower Richland Promise is consisted of all players located in the city of Columbia. The Promise
are coached by Joseph Mack.
Travis Brown (2018) is the leader on this squad. Brown is fresh off a strong showing at Big Shots –
Myrtle Beach this past weekend. Brown a athletic wing can really shoot the ball out on the perimeter.
Brown is ranked in the Prep Hoops Top 30 for the 2018 class. Brown is looking to have a big spring
and summer with the Lower Richland Promise.
Dreshaun Jones
Dreshaun Jones (2017) has currently grown to be 6’4 now. Jones playing as a available senior showed a
nice-mid range game this weekend. Jones told Prep Hoops he has currently received interest from
USC-Aiken. Jones feels very comfortable bringing the ball up the floor and handling the rock.
Trenton Clarke (2018) 5’10 point guard is the table setter for the Lower Richland Promise.
Clarke won’t wow you by any means but doesn’t ever turn the ball over at all. Prep Hoops has seen
Clarke in 3 games this spring with just 1 turnover (errant pass).
The Lower Richland Promise is like your local team from the neighborhood a lot of kids that have been
together for quite awhile and play together.
