Duane Moss has seeked his scholarship release from Youngstown State University. Moss notified
Prep Hoops to let us know he was looking to open up his recruitment.
Moss played in just a handful of games this season for the Panthers before getting hurt.
Moss averaged 13.8 ppg and 6.4 rebounds for Carolina Forest HS this season before being
sidelined with a season ending injury. Moss finished his career with 1,010 points and is ranked
#8 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season.
Ta’Seon Johnson told Prep Hoops he recently visited Longwood University and Coker College (SC).
Johnson 6’7 post player just finished his career at Timberland HS in St Stephen. Johnson averaged 14 ppg
this season for the Wolves. Johnson is ranked #46 in the Top 125.
Matt Garay
Matt Garay recently played in Swanny’s Unsigned Senior Event at Lakewood HS. Garay 6’7 power forward
has informed Prep Hoops that he has signed with Catawba Valley Community College (NC) (NJCAA D2)
for next season. Garay recently visited the Hickory, NC school late last week.
Garay averaged 15.1 ppg, 7.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks this season for Beaufort HS. Garay recently played
in the South Carolina North-South Game. Garay is ranked #57 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season.
Jordan Davis told Prep Hoops today that he has talked with new Dayton Head Coach Anthony Grant and
he will meet with him this week. Davis is ranked #4 in the Prep Hoops Top 125. Davis recently was named
Class 5A State Player of the Year. Davis played his high school career at Dutch Fork HS.
