Grassroots : Ashton Arnold 5 names to know
The talent pool in the Palmetto State has never been at all time high as it’s now.
Prep Hoops takes a look at 5 players that you might want to track for the future.
Pantry McKinney (2018) – Eastside HS (Taylors) – Upstate Warriors (pictured on front)
McKinney a 5’11 combo guard helped the Eagles to a solid season. McKinney is strong
with the ball and seems to get to the rack quite easily.
Malcolm Chavous (2018) – Wade Hampton (Greenville) – Upstate Warriors
Chavous a left-handed shooting guard really shot the ball well today. Chavous 6’0
made some tough shots with a defenders hand in his face.
Tuzion Brock (2018) – Greenville Southside – Team South Carolina
Brock is a true point guard who can get into the lane all night long. Brock really shows
good elevation on his shot and likes to play a up-tempo style of play. Brock hit several
pull-up jumpers in transition. Brock won a Class 3A State Championship this season
with the Tigers.
Kyron Gray
Kyron Gray (2018) – Hartsville – Team South Carolina
Gray is a quick leaper off the floor and has the ability to alter shots on the defensive end.
Gray 6’7 tweener – combo forward is a bit of a late bloomer. Gray needs to get stronger
to play in the post. Gray averaged 10.1 ppg and 9.9 rebounds for the Red Foxes.
Mondreacus Clark
Mondreacus Clark (2018) – Anderson Christian – South Carolina Raptors
Clark averaged 15.3 ppg this season at Anderson Christian while connecting on 34% (59-176)
from three point range. Clark hit several catch-shoot three pointers today.
