Swanny’s Unsigned Senior Event Part 1
Prep Hoops and Swanny’s Roundball Review took hosted a Unsigned Senior Event at Lakewood
HS in Sumter, SC this past Sunday. The event featured 65 players. Prep Hoops takes a look at some
players who caught some eyes of college coaches in attendance.
Christavis Johnson – Scott’s Branch (Summerton)
Johnson 5’9 point guard is cat quick from end to end on the floor. Johnson runs track in the spring for
the Eagles and could end up somewhere on a track scholarship. Johnson likes to penetrate to the basket and
kick-out and really has a great gear to get by a defender.
Craig Sabb Jr.
Craig Sabb Jr. – Stratford (Goose Creek)
Sabb Jr stands at 6’0 and plays a combo guard position. Sabb Jr. averaged 15.7 ppg, 4.7 rebounds
and 3.6 assists this season while being a All-Region performer. Sabb Jr. uses his body really well
to fight off defenders. Sabb Jr. is ranked #48 in the Prep Hoops Top 125.
Greg Archie – Oceanside Collegiate Academy (McClellanville)
Archie a left-handed point guard played his senior year at the new Oceanside Collegiate Academy.
Archie started his career at Fort Dorchester and then played his junior season at Cathedral Academy.
Archie can knockdown the mid-range jumper and has the ability to switch hands at the basket to score.
Archie averaged 14.3 ppg, 4.2 assists and 3.4 steals this season. OCA was not eligible for post-season
since it was a first year program. Archie is ranked #101 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season.
Jordan Warlick – Dutch Fork (Irmo)
Warlick holds a 3.88 GPA in the classroom. Warlick 6’4 brought the ball up the floor many times today.
Warlick played averaged 10 ppg this season for the Silver Foxes. Warlick played with Jordan Davis (Dayton),
Willie Dunbar (Catawba), Justin Thompson (Limestone) and Deuce Dean (2019) this season.
Jawan Bryant
Jawan Bryant – Waccamaw (Pawleys Island)
Bryant stands at 6’4 and plays in the post for the Warriors. Bryant lacks any perimeter skills but is extremely
active in the paint. Bryant is a great loose change he has the ability to manufacture his own points.
Bryant averaged 11 ppg and 7 rebounds this season.
Jeff Hintz – North Myrtle Beach Christian (North Myrtle Beach)
Hintz a 6’7 small forward lacks any contact on the floor. Hintz averaged 17 ppg and 6.8 rebounds this
season for the Stallions. Hintz has the ability to knockdown the three pointer. Hintz will run AAU
this April with Flight 22 Unsigned team. Hintz is ranked #122 in the Prep Hoops Top 125.
Sa’Von Williams – Darlington
Williams is a football player playing in the post. Williams stands at 6’4 (235). Williams has a thick
frame and gets himself into position well posting up. Williams averaged 7 ppg and 6.5 rebounds this
season.
Luke Brenegan – Wade Hampton (Greenville) (pictured on front)
Brenegan made shots here today and plenty of them. Brenegan 6’3 (185) shooting guard averaged
21 ppg this season while being a All-State Selection and Region Player of the Year for the Generals.
Brenegan has a 3.8 GPA in the classroom and plans on looking into the prep school route.
Brenegan informed Prep Hoops he will be visiting Hargrave Military Academy in the very near future.
Brengan’s dad played his college basketball at the University of South Dakota in the early 1990’s.
