Recruiting Report: Will Robinson (JUCO)
John A Logan CC sophomore shooting guard Will Robinson isn’t the most skilled wing, but you have to love the toughness that he brings to the table. Long and lanky wing that really gets after it on the defensive end of the floor. Active hands that creates steals. Good help defender. Shows the ability he can defend multiple guard and wing positions. Offensively he is best in transition and as a slasher. Should be a D2 or potential low-major prospect as a defensive specialist.
Robinson spoke about his season with the Vols.
“I think I have been playing good on the defensive end. That is most important to me. As long as I am playing defense the offense is a bonus for me.”
It all starts on D for the Chicago native.
“I try to get going on the defensive end bringing energy for my team. My defense transfers to offense with the steals and playing the passing lanes well.”
Several programs are showing interest.
“Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois, Tennessee Tech, Oral Roberts, and Chicago State interest.”
