Recruiting Report: Devon Flowers (2018)
Devon Flowers led The Potomac School in points, rebounds, made/attempted free throws, and blocked shots. The 6-foot-9 forward made a significant two-way impact, and was named to the All-MAC team.
“I think I’m a versatile player,” said Flowers, a native of Washington, D.C. “I’m tall. Able to do things around the court.”
Flowers led The Potomac School to a winning record, and a VISAA Tournament berth this season. He received a scholarship offer from Radford, and is hearing from Lafayette, JMU, George Mason, and Providence among others.
“I took a visit to Radford,” said Flowers about his recruitment. “Coaches tell me I need to work on strength and always playing with a motor.”
Division one programs are certainly intrigued by the size and versatility which Flowers possesses. His rebounding ability and aggressiveness have certainly improved since his early days at Gonzaga, and should continue to improve.
What can college coaches expect from Flowers at the next level?
“Just skillset, and ability to play both ends of the court. Be able to play inside out.”
