Nefai Tonga / G / 6’3 / Skyline / 2018
Stockton Shorts / G / 6’4 / Copper Hills / 2017
Trey Johnson / G/F / 6’5 / Hillcrest (ID) / 2018
Tyler Walker / F / 6’5 / Timpanogos / 2018
Darian Nebeker / F / 6’5 / West Jordan / 2018
Clayton Southwick / G/F / 6’7 / Palmer (AK) / 2018
Brock Anderson / F / 6’7 / Riverton / 2018
We will start off with 2018 Darian Nebeker who had a breakout year. Nebeker is able to plays inside and out and at 6’5 he creates mismatches for undersized players as well as players that are bigger than him. Look for him to have a great summer. 2018 Jon Parker also had a great season averaging 19 points a game and at 6’3 this guard can not only score he distributes the ball really well and plays defense. Parker is one of the best two way players in the state.
The most intriguing player on the UBC Elite roster is 2017 Stockton Shorts who can absolutely play but is still looking for the right offer. Shorts averaged 24 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assist a game. He is currently a D2 player at 6’4 but could possibly be a low major player at the right school that can groom him into a D1 player.
6’7 SF Clayton Southwick is a nice fit for this UBC squad with his nice inside-outside game. Southwick is NICE! Don’t sleep on Trey Jonson they kid has bounce and is one of the top players in all of Idaho.
UBC is well coached and has always put a great product out on the court. We look forward to seeing them play this summer.
