Strengths: With this group, you have a lot of wings. This group will be a little smaller but could provide more versatility and should have the ability to switch 1-5 and in Indiana in 2018, there isn’t a ton of size to compete with so this could find some success. Finding their scoring punch will be interesting as you have guys like Carey and Dye that can score from the perimeter but Broeker has been one of the best scorers in the state the last couple years.
Why College Programs Should Watch: NAIA and DII programs could really find some interest in this group. The amount of wings they have should draw a bit of interest from a lot of people but you have some high upside guys in D.J. Carey and Jake Dye that could be good.
Player To Watch: Jake Dye (Griffith) – Dye is a tall wing that played last season on the top Indiana Elite team. He’s mainly a catch-and-shoot guy who can mix in some driving ability but with his size, and if he can improve off the bounce, he’s going to have the chance to jump up a level or two over the summer.
Where To Find Them: As it is with most Indiana Elite teams, they will be in Indianapolis a ton but they also plan to be in Chicago a few times and Louisville as well as Run-n-Slam in Fort Wayne this year. Staying in the Midwest should help the recruitment.
