Shelby Grimes (Charleston Collegiate) scored a team-high 27 points to lead the SCISA All-Stars over the GISA All-Stars. Grimes hit a two-pointer to give the SCISA All-Star a 97-95 with 2:30 left in the game. The game went back after the game was tied at 84-84 both team made several run the fourth quarter.
SCISA started the fourth quarter on a 6-0 run to take 81-77 lead. The GISA All-Stars made a 7-0 to take an 84-77 lead after trailing 81-77. GISA made a big run after the halftime break with 30-14 run to take a 77-75 lead. The GISA All-Stars were led by Marquise Jackson with game-high 29 points and Jalin Wembley 16 points.
Justin Busby (Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach) scored eight of his 23 points in the first quarter. Landon Moss (Spartanburg Christian) scored 13 points for the SCISA All-Stars. Moss will compete in both the SCISA and Greenville/Spartanburg All -Star Game on Saturday. The game was played as four ten-minute quarters.
Rounding out the scoring for the SCISA All-Stars was Richmond bound Bryce Schneider (Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach) with eight points , Nolan Knox (Charleston Collegiate) had eight points, and Kegan Boone (Charleston Collegiate) added three points.
GISA 110, SCISA 104
Michael Wright
Andrew Prestwood scored a team-high 14 points to lead GISA over the SCISA all-stars. Michael Wright (Pinewood Prep) scored a game-high 23 points in the loss for SCISA All-Stars. Wright scored eight of his 13 points to give SCISA a 29-21 lead after the first quarter. SCISA took a halftime lead of 63-54 at the break.
Josh Caldwell
GISA come out on fire in the third quarter outscoring SCISA 33-15 to take an 87-78 lead to fourth quarter. GISA made six three-pointer in the third quarter. SCISA would not recover and eventual loss the game. Josh Caldwell (Heathwood Hall) played in two All-Star games in less than two hours apart. Caldwell a West Point (Army) signee scored 9 points in his last game on the home floor at Heathwood Hall. Seth Hester (Ben Lippen) scored 12 points and Wynston Andrews (Cardinal Newman) added 10 points for SCISA All-Star team.
Other SCISA scorers were Tyler Garvin (Pinewood Prep) nine points, Brandon Miller (Pinewood Prep) had nine points , Jalil Robinson (Laurence Manning) also had nine points, Seth Green (Laurence Manning)had seven points, and Preston Watson (Florence Christian) had five points.
