How did the final ranking compare to our early season predictions? Have a look!
Preseason Top 15 (I put the top 15 in the Breakdown book and then update the top ten at NHR through the year). North Woods was obviously the biggest surprise as they only had one senior starter but made this run with two juniors and two sophomores that really stepped up.
- Minneapolis North
- Spring Grove
- Red Lake
- Browerville
- Lake Park-Audubon
- Prairie Seeds Academy
- Heritage Christian
- St Clair
- Goodhue
- Cleveland
- Central Minnesota Christian
- Nevis
- Springfield
- Hillcrest Lutheran
- Rushford-Peterson
Next year #1! Off the top of my head I would have to guess that Springfield and North Woods have to be considered the teams that lead the conversation off for number one. Springfield brings back almost everybody and North Woods returns four starters from the state runner-up. Many of our final top ten lose their key components and Minneapolis North is of course moving up.
