College coaches are going to be out and about after some of their seasons are coming to an end. With that in mind, we breakdown each Regional with the best players still available.
MICHIGAN CITY REGIONAL:
Cameron Wilbon – 6’5 | SF | Merrillville
Jonah Jackson – 6’2 | SG | Merrillville
Kyreece Parker – 6’3 | SF | South Bend Adams
Te’Shan Godwin – 5’10 | PG | South Bend Adams
Michael Green – 5’10 | PG | South Bend Adams
William Jeffers – 6’8 | PF | South Bend Adams
Jermaine Couisnard – 6’5 | SF | East Chicago Central
THOUGHTS: This is a good regional for about everyone. Cameron Wilbon has been playing really well and between him and Jonah Jackson you have a pair of DII/LM players to check in on. You also have a few small school guards with some DI programs having the ability to look at Jermaine Couisnard.
LOGANSPORT REGIONAL:
Davontae Kinnie – 5’9 | PG | Fort Wayne North
Malek Martin – 6’4 | SF | Fort Wayne North
Juan Quarles – 6’2 | SG | Fort Wayne North
Jack Ferguson – 6’2 | SG | Homestead
Parker Manges – 6’2 | SG | Homestead
Mike Pitz – 6’8 | C | Carmel
Alex Falender – 5’8 | PG | Carmel
P.J. Baron – 6’4 | SF | Carmel
Sterling Brown – 5’11 | PG | Carmel
Eddy Collins – 5’11 | SG | McCutcheon
THOUGHTS: If you are a small school looking for a scoring guard, this is where you need to be. You have a ton of them with Quarles, Ferguson, Manges, Brown, and Collins. All of those guys can put up buckets. Also, they are pretty high-end for their level so it will be a nice way to compare and contrast the options.
SOUTHPORT REGIONAL:
Packard Rozzi – 6’2 | SG | Brownsburg
Landon Hall – 6’4 | SG | Brownsburg
Grant Smith – 6’5 | SF | Connersville
Beau Isaacs – 6’5 | PF | Connersville
Mateo Rivera – 6’0 | PG | North Central
Emmanuel Little – 6’6 | SF | North Central
Kyle Finch – 6’5 | PF | Ben Davis
Joshua Brewer – 6’6 | SF | Ben Davis
Datrion Harper – 5’11 | PG | Ben Davis
Jalen Newsom – 6’3 | SG | Ben Davis
Trevaughn Bush – 6’1 | PG | Ben Davis
THOUGHTS: If you are in the market for wing players, this is where you need to be. Hall, Smith, Little, Finch, Brewer, and Newsom all fit the mold of NAIA/DII players. Mixed in, you also have a few guards for NAIA/DIII programs in Rozzi, Harper, and Bush with Rivera a really good DII+ talent.
SEYMOUR REGIONAL:
Seth Piercefield – 6’1 | SG | Center Grove
Travis Roehling – 6’1 | SG | Center Grove
Isaac Hibbard – 6’0 | PG | New Albany
Payton Mills – 6’5 | PF | Castle
THOUGHTS: Most of the talent in this Regional is quite a bit younger and/or committed. However, Mills and Hibbard provide really good DIII/NAIA options as a guard or a post player. Center Grove’s backcourt combo each bring a little bit different of a look if you are a DIII program looking for high academic players.
