“Kaiden Rice has committed to The Citadel” said Drae Rice. Rice a small forward from Ridge View in Columbia is ranked #24 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season.
Rice played AAU with the Central Carolina Force. Rice has helped the Blazers to Region 3-AAAA Championship before the playoffs start next week.
Rice is averaging 16.7 ppg and 6.6 rebounds this season for 1st year Head Coach Yerrick Stoneman.
“Kaiden really liked the vision the staff has for him at The Citadel. Kaiden will have a opportunity to play early on for the Bulldogs” said Drae Rice. Army, Navy and American University all showed interest in Rice this spring.
Devon Young won’t have far to travel next season to continue his college education. Young has signed to play football at Georgia Military next season. Young is ranked #69 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season.
Young 6’4 plays at Aiken HS. The Hornets recently won the region and improved to 20-4 on the season. Young averaged 11.1 ppg and 3.5 rebounds.
Young ran for 863 yards and 7 touchdowns this season after transferring over from nearby Midland Valley.

Deon Priester plays both football and basketball at Allendale-Fairfax. Priester who stands at 6’2 (280) has signed with Wofford University next season for football.
Priester a North-South All-Star Selection recorded 18 sacks during his junior season.
