The biggest area of improvement in his game has been the progression of his perimeter game. The ball handling has made strides as has his jump shot. Consistency on the jumper is coming around. Improving athlete that will flash a dunk above the rim on occasion. Quality low-major prospect in 2018.
Hardy talked about his season.
“I think I have been playing well. I am shooting it with a lot more confidence. Getting to the rim. Getting offensive rebounds and put backs. I have been playing pretty well I think.”
The progression in his game from the post to perimeter has made significant strides over the last year.
“I have always been bigger for my grade. I have always been a power forward up through grade school. Now I am working on my perimeter game. Shooting the ball and getting to the basket. Also my perimeter defense is getting better.”
Playing against national competition in the UAA with the Illinois Wolves has given him more confidence as a junior coming back with his high school team.
“There is nobody in Illinois as good as the players we see on the UAA circuit. There is no backing down from me. That goes with the growing confidence from playing really good competition on the circuit.”
What colleges are in the most contact?
“I have been talking to Green Bay a lot, Wright State, Cornell, and some other mid-majors.”
