The sophomore is lightning in a bottle going end to end with his jet quick speed. Pushes it while weaving in and out of the defense. Vision to find others, but he is athletic enough to finish at the cup with athleticism and body control. Tough on ball defender. Potential on jump shot. Mid-major to low-major prospect at this stage.
The sophomore spoke about the season.
“I am getting it together and playing my role. My role on this team is to lead.”
He broke down the strengths in his game.
“Quick and I attack the rim a lot. I am working on my shooting.”
Where do things stand with recruiting?
“It is going good. A lot of coaches are looking at me. Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana.”
He currently has three offers on the table.
“DePaul, Green Bay, and UTEP.”
Yesufu broke down each of the three offers.
Green Bay
“That was my first offer. It was new to me. I felt extremely proud and blessed.”
UTEP
“They were my second one. I was caught off guard. I didn’t know the coach was coming. It was great that coach Tim Floyd offered me.”
DePaul
“It was out of the blue after one of our open gyms.”
