Soft touch, quality footwork, and is efficient with his touches on the block. Area rebounder that positions himself well to grab boards. D2 prospect.

“Finishing more at the rim. Last year I used to miss a lot of layups. I am making those now.”
Boyd and his twin brother both landed an offer over the summer.

They took a visit to the program.
“When we visited they were very nice people and a great atmosphere. The coaches liked us. They thought we would be a good fit for their team.”
Boyd ran with the Illinois Celtics on the grassroots circuit.
