“So far the season has gone really well for me and the team,” Joe said. “I think we are finally getting things together, coming to the end of the season.”
The Packers won ten in a row before dropping a five point game to Davies last night. The EDC Tournament is next starting Tuesday.
“Playoffs are looking good for us right now but we don’t want to overlook any team in the EDC tournament and lose our chance at a state tournament spot,” Joe said.
“I think we can potentially be a solid state championship team if we keep improving over these next two weeks.”
Joe is scoring 19.95 points per contest shooting 46 percent from the field (14-15 shots a game), 34 percent from the arc, and 79 percent from the foul line. Joe also gets his team 3.3 rebounds and a couple steals each night.
“This year I have grown in my defense and trying to be a better leader so my team can grow and start a playoff push,” explained Pistorius.
And Joe will play college basketball. Three NSIC teams are talking to him the most.
“At this time U of Mary, University of Sioux Falls, and Northern State are the top three colleges looking at me right now,” Pistorius said.
