Coming off back to back state titles the Patriots were 4-9 just over three weeks ago. It was a rough start for a line-up with many new players.
“The season hasn’t been going as expected but it’s been alright,” Barrow said. “Mainly because of being out of position due to the height we have this year.”
Dillon is a strong lead guard with an explosive first step. His game is attacking the basket and playmaking but it’s grown to be more than that.
“Personally I think my game has grown in places such as just playing more team basketball offensively and defensively,” Dillon said.
A year ago at this time Lincoln was about five games under .500 but they made a run to win the title. Can that happen again? The Patriots have won five of their last six earning the three seed in the district.
Lincoln plays rival SF Washington in the 2/3 game and Washington is 10-10 =and Lincoln won the last game by ten. Could another Lincoln late season run happen again?
“Playoffs seem like a great opportunity to do what Lincoln has been doing the past couple years,” Barrow said. “Playing our best basketball in March.”
Barrow is also starting to hear from division two schools about playing college basketball.
“I’m just receiving interest letters from schools like Northern State, Wayne State, University of Sioux Falls etc,” Barrow stated.
