“Right now I have been talking with North Dakota State, U of Mary, Sioux Falls, Minot State, Williston State, Jamestown, and Valley City State,” Ogbu said.
“These are coaches that have shown good interest in me, they have called, text, or and send letters constantly.”
Ogbu has earned their attention with his strong build, agility, athletic explosiveness, and improved skill. He’s becoming more comfortable as a player with every game.
“The biggest growth in my game this year is being able to shoot the ball from the three point line,” Ogbu stated. “I spend all summer on working on my shoot, and it has paid off this year. Now guys have to guard me close and this open the driving lanes. Also I’m becoming more of a leader for teammates.”
Shiloh Christian has taken on all comers this year. It’s hard to find a team that has played a tougher schedule. They’ve recently lost a couple games giving them four losses but once the playoff start the record is 0-0.
“The season has been good so far, we have played some really good teams this year on the road, “Ogbu said. “I think it made us better, gave us the mindset to work harder in practice and agency to get better as a young group.
“I think we are ready for the playoffs, we have played a lot good competition to get us ready, the team understands that everyone has to raised their level of play during the playoffs. Our expectation is to win the district and regionals championship, and have a chance to compete in the state championship game”
Shiloh Christian has one of the most talented rosters in the state and definitely has the pieces to make a March run.
