Hayden Catholic is off to a 9-4 start this season and feature a talented line-up with numerous players who will likely continue their careers at the next level.
“We are very skilled in all positions and have many options for how to play our game,” Federico said.
Federico says he is looking forward to playing against Junction City on Tuesday. Although the Blue Jays are 5-10 this season, they feature several talented players, including big man Xavier Cason.
“Their center (Cason) will be a big test to see how much I have improved over the last year,” Federico says.
Federico says his dad and Jordan Canfield have been the biggest influences on his basketball career.
“(Jordan) Canfield was my basketball coach for a long time … They both taught me to understand the game of basketball and always pushed me to do and be my best,” he said. “They helped me fall in love with the game.”
Federico says he is a fan of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.
