He is ranked as the 38th best prospect in the class by PrepHoopsSC and will play his travel season basketball with Upward Stars. PrepHoopsSC analyst Justin Byerly caught up with Baldinelli to discuss his past season and what he has planned for the future.
PrepHoopsSC: How did the season go for you as a whole?
Zach Baldinelli: I had a very good season. I was named all tournament in the Impact sports invitational & FBI Classic. Finished out with averages of 15 ppg, 4 rbg & 4Apg.
PrepHoopsSC: What schools have been in contact recently? Offers?
Zach Baldinelli: I’ve been hearing from USC Upstate, Oregon State, Lander, St. Andrews & Francis Marion. Still no offers on the table yet.
PrepHoopsSC: What do you think playing with Upward Stars will do for your game this summer?
Zach Baldinelli: I think playing with upward this summer will allow me to play against top competition, as well as develop my game and get a lot of exposure.
PrepHoopsSC: Can you explain your game to me?
Zach Baldinelli: I’m a very hardworking player. There’s nothing flashy to my game, I get the job done. Also I’m very versatile. I can play all positions!
