Orem- Ross Reeves is a 6’3 combo-guard with much room to grow physically. At 17 PPG, the baby face lefty 3 point sniper for the Orem Tigers is starting to scratch the surface of his talent and potential What makes Ross so special is his uncanny ability to think that any shot on court is a good shot, and being able to convert more often than not.
When Ross gets off the bus and enters the gym he’s in range to fire it up. Reeves is one of the top juniors in the state, and also leading the Tigers in numerous categories that includes points, 3‘s made, and steals. He is an excellent shooter, but also has great ability at getting to the rim and finishing with either hand. Strong ball handler with average passing skills, definitely more of a scoring guard.
Ross knows that he will need to add strength to a slender frame to get to high level college basketball, but even if he never grew again, he would still be an excellent D2 player. Ross plays with great confidence and poise, his teammates really feed off his leadership and ability to hit huge shots when the Tigers need it most.
Ross currently plays with Salt Lake Metro in the AAU circuit and is a mid-major D1 to high D2 player. He will serve a 2 year mormon mission and be eligible for the 2020-2021 season for college.
