#61- Michael Wright – Pinewood Prep (Summerville)
Wright a combo forward has the ability to step-out and knockdown the perimeter jumper. Wright has lost weight since last year and moves well for his 6’6 size frame. Wright is averaging 14.4 ppg and 7.1 rebounds this season for the Panthers.
#62-Terrance Barnes – Westwood (Blythewood) (pictured)
Barnes a 6’5 small forward has helped the Redhawks a post season tourney bid. Barnes has really good size to play the wing spot. Barnes can finish at the rim and also shows a nice pull-up jumper.
#63-Camrin Miller – Whale Branch (Seabrook)
Miller is a strong kid at 6’4 (215). Miller helped the Warriors to a 2nd place in Region. The Warriors had to playoff a tiebreaker with Burke and lost 53-52. Miller scored 16 points in the loss.
“Miller has a football frame and has the ability to attack the basket from the top of the key. Camrin shows a nice 17-19 feet range on his shot” says Prep Hoops Bret Swanson.
Miller is averaging 10 ppg this season for the (18-6) Warriors.
#64-Tyrell Mendenhall – Legacy Charter (Greenville)
Mendenhall a power forward stands at 6’8 for the Lions. Mendenhall is in his 2nd year here after leaving Newberry HS. Mendendall has gotten into better shape over the year and still has his best basketball in front of him down the road.
Mendenhall is averaging 6.6 ppg this year for the (20-8) Lions.
#65-Deshundre Rucker – Eastside (Taylors)
Rucker stands at 6’6 for the Eagles. Rucker helped the Eagles to a playoff game with Midland Valley next Wednesday. Rucker is averaging 13 ppg and 2.5 blocks a night. Rucker shows a nice mid-range game with good length on the floor.
#66- Tyson McClain – Dorman (Spartanburg) (pictured)
McClain a off guard really has the ability to knockdown shots all over the floor for the Cavaliers. McClain a tough on the ball defender has a very quick shot release. The Cavaliers are 18-5 on the season heading into the playoffs next week.
McClain carries a 4.3 GPA and 1130 SAT score according to Cavaliers Assistant coach Brendan Marcell. McClain 6’0 is averaging 13 ppg this year while shooting 40% from three point range.
McClain has a 36 inch vertical leap.
Mars Hill, Catawba, Newberry and Southern Wesleyan were all in attendance last night to watch McClain play according to Coach Marcell.
#67 – Caleb Shackleford – Lexington (pictured)
Shackleford has the Wildcats in the playoffs this season. Shackleford 6’5 is a solid student in the classroom. Shackleford has a 21 ACT and 1080 SAT this spring. Shackleford is averaging 12.3 ppg and 8.4 rebounds this year.
Shackleford is the son of the late North Carolina State basketball Charles Shackleford who recently passed away last month.
Erskine, Lander and Anderson University have shown interest this spring in his services.
#68 – James Fuller-Davis – Richland Northeast (Columbia) (pictured on front)
Fuller-Davis a 5’11 point guard scored 27 points last night in a victory over York. Fuller-Davis connected on 7 three pointers in the win for the Cavaliers. Fuller-Davis is averaging 16.1 ppg this season.
The Cavaliers will play as #4 seed coming out of there region heading into next week.
#69 – Devon Young – Aiken
Young recently signed with Georgia Military for football next season. Young has helped the Hornets to a 1st place finish in the region.
#70 – Kenny Brown – Whale Branch (Seabrook) (pictured)
Brown is a 6’2 left-handed shooting guard for the Warriors. Brown played AAU with the Carolina Ballers on the circuit. Brown is averaging 14.5 ppg this year. Brown is a solid student in the classroom according to Warriors Head Coach James Raymond.
Brown was runner-up to Player of the Year in the Region. Sidney Robinson (Burke) received that top honor.
