#101 – Greg Archie – Oceanside Academy (Mount Pleasant) (pictured on front)
Archie a left-handed point guard is in his first year at the brand new school. Archie played at Fort Dorchester HS and Cathedral Academy the past two seasons. Archie 5’11 won’t be able to play in the playoffs this season for the Landsharks. The Landsharks (15-3) are not eligible for post season play. Oceanside Academy is coached by former College of Charleston player Jermel President.
#102 – Marcus Crawford – Trinity-Byrnes School (Darlington)
Crawford a 5’10 point guard has been at Trinity Byrnes the past two seasons. Crawford is a straight “A” student according to Titans Head Coach Larry Cullinane. Crawford is averaging 13.7 ppg this season for the (20-8) Titans. Crawford is receiving NAIA-Small College recruitment according to Cullinane. Crawford started his high school career at nearby West Florence HS.
#103 – Monta Houston – York Prep Academy (Rock Hill)
Houston a 5’10 point guard is very quick end to end. Houston has solid handles with a nice mid-range game. York Prep has plenty of talent around him on the floor at all times.
#104 – Kenderick George – Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia)
George a power forward was hit by the injury bug early on and never got back on track according to War Eagles Head Coach Dion Bethea. George is now focusing on playing baseball according to Bethea.
#105 – Chrisean Mack – Ridge View (Columbia)
Mack a point guard recently made a verbal commitment to Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. The Monarchs play in the NCAA D3 ranks.
#106 – Tyrell Still – Lakewood (Sumter)
Still a point guard has been up and done this season with play and with injuries. The Gators (14-6) are currently in first place in region play. “Tyrell has taken on a different role this season for the team with no complaints” said Lakewood Assistant Coach Matt Howlett. Still is averaging 7.8 ppg this year.
#107 – Devontae Davis – Silver Bluff (Petticoat Junction)
Davis a football prospect was recently on the University of South Carolina campus. Davis might be a kid that gets placed into the junior college ranks by the Gamecocks. Davis is averaging 12 ppg this season for the Bulldogs.
#108 – Jordan McDaniel – James Island
McDaniel a shooting guard recently quit the Trojans squad. McDaniel a wide receiver on the gridiron had 45 receptions this season before getting hurt. McDaniel recorded 80 receptions during his junior season. McDaniel finished his career with 195 receptions and 2,161 yards while hauling in 14 touchdowns.
McDaniel recently left the basketball team in early January 2017. McDaniel is considering going the prep school route for football next season he told Prep Hoops recently.
#109 – Jaylenn Corbett – Sumter (pictured)
Corbett a small forward gets his hands on a lot of balls with deflections or rebounding it. Corbett 6’4 is a athletic kid with a great motor. Corbett is a great role guy on the Fighting Gamecocks. Sumter a Class 5A school should make a strong run to the State Tourney this season.
#110 – Jalen Carter – Clinton
Carter 6’4 has his team ranked #2 in Class 3A in the State. Carter a very solid student according to the coaching staff has a 1300 SAT. Carter is averaging 14 ppg and 8.9 rebounds this season for the Red Devils. Carter played wide receiver on the football team. The Red Devils are currently 15-3 on the season and 7-0 in region play.
Carter averaged 13.6 ppg during his junior season.
