#91 – Kylie Blackett – White Knoll (Lexington)
Blackette is the leader for the Timberwolves. Blackett a point guard is currently averaging 15.4 ppg this season. Blackette played AAU with the SC Kings. “Kylie is a absolute blur on the floor and can get to any spot he wants effortlessly” said White Knoll Head Coach Devin Liferidge.
Blackett is a academic qualifier according to Liferidge with a 3.3 GPA.
#92 – Ruben Monzon – Goose Creek
Monzon 6’6 combo forward is a military kid after arriving at Goose Creek a few years back from San Diego, CA.Monzon is currently averaging 13 ppg and 7 rebounds this season for the Gators. Monnzon carries a 3.8 GPA and 72 ACT according to Gators Head Coach Blake Hall.
Monzon who was born in Texas wants to attend a school with high academics. “Ruben is one of the greatest young men I’ve ever coached on and off the court” said Hall.
#93 – DeVon McCoy – Stall (North Charleston)
McCoy recently signed a scholarship to play football at Shaw University (NC) NCAA D2 program. McCoy is averaging 19.4 ppg and 9.7 rebounds this season. McCoy scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the Stall 76-72 win over Cane Bay. McCoy 6’5 now has scored 1,119 career points.
#94 – JaQuan Felton – Marion (pictured on front)
Felton is averaging 16.9 ppg and 4.8 rebounds this season for the Swamp Foxes. Felton is best at attacking the rim and shows a very streaky shot from the perimeter. Felton runs AAU with the Carolina Stampede.
Marion is currently 14-5 on the season and has a one game lead heading into the last week of region play.
#95 – Antron Smith – Loris
Smith found his way back to the Grand Strand this past summer after play the past two seasons at Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg). Smith is averaging 12.5 ppg this season for the Lions. Smith is just a player with really no true position on the floor.
#96 – Shelby Grimes – Charleston Collegiate (Johns Island)
Grimes came over to the Sun Devils this past off season from Wando HS. Grimes is leading the Charleston area in scoring at 21.4 ppg. The Sun Devils won the SCISA 1A State Championship last season defeating Anderson Christian.
Grimes a small forward can knockdown the 3 pointer from the corners and really uses the head fake very nicely to score the ball.
#97 – Tay Kershaw – Gaffney (pictured)
Kershaw a 5’10 point guard has the Indians 17-4 on the season and 6-0 in Region play. Kershaw scored 12 points in a recent victory over Boiling Springs 87-69. Kershaw will more than likely have to entertain junior college options for next season.
#98 – Jacob Smith – TL Hanna (Anderson)
Smith a 6’3 small forward plays at the same school that was famous in the movie “Radio”. Smith is averaging 8 ppg this season for the 8-10 Yellow Jackets.
#99 – Keyshawn Aiken – Lake Marion (Santee)
Aiken stands at 6’3 plays all over the floor for the Gators. The Gators have suffered through another tough season this year. Aiken recently scored 24 points in a loss to Woodland. Aiken is just one of the many Gators players who still has there best basketball still in front of them.
The Gators just 3-17 on the season STILL reamain in the hunt for the last playoff spot in the region. The Gators play Hanahan on Tuesday. Aiken is averaging 15 ppg this season. Aiken will need to go the junior college route for next year.
#100 – Andrew Tate – Spartanburg (pictured)
Tate is averaging 8.2 ppg and 6.2 rebounds this season for the Vikings. Tate a undersized post player at 6’4 keeps the ball up high when he rebounds it and is effective when he stays inside the paint.
