Tisdale was all over the floor for the War Eagles this evening. Tisdale a point guard led the War Eagles to a 71-41 victory by scoring 25 points in the game.
Play of the Game : Darius Rush – C.E. Murray (Greeleyville) (2018)
Rush ignited the home crowd with a big-time dunk on a fast break at 6:06 mark of the 2nd quarter. The War Eagles continued on a 12-0 run to take a 25-19 lead and were leading the Eagles 37-28 heading into halftime.
Best Offensive Performance : Marcus Reid – C.E. Murray (Greeleyville) (2017)(pictured)
Reid controlled the paint for the War Eagles all night long. Reid recently joined the team after being left out after a football injury vs Lake View in the state playoffs. Reid a South Carolina State football signee scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Best Defensive Performance : Darius Rush – C.E. Murray (Greeleyville) (2018)
Rush was a pest inside with deflections all over the floor. Rush 6’2 has really good length. Rush recently was offered by the University of South Carolina (Football). Rush is just of a very good athlete just a jack of all trades type of guy.
Best Intangibles : Twayne Butler – C.E. Murray (Greeleyville) (2019) (pictured)
Butler has a very bright future for the Eagles. Butler 6’3 plays a lot bigger than his size. Butler scored 7 points and recorded 7 rebounds.
Best Guy off the Bench : Twayne Butler – C.E. Murray (Greeleyville) (2019)
Butler made a name for himself today. This was the first time seeing this young post player. Butler moves well and keeps the ball up high.
Best Under the Radar Performance : Johama Tisdale – C.E. Murray (Greeleyville) (2017)
Tisdale a 5’10 left-handed point guard can push the tempo and also can play in a half-court set. Tisdale played WR/DB on the football team this season but according to War Eagles Head Coach Neilson Hilton would like to play basketball in college. Tisdale was averaging 16.8 ppg entering tonights game. Tisdale finished with 25 points and 7 assists.
Best Project to Watch : Twayne Butler – C.E. Murray (Greeleyville) (2019)
Butler is only going to get better in time. Butler stands 6’3 right now still might have some growing to

The War Eagles dominated the Eagles most of the night and will head into the playoffs with not such a good record. The War Eagles are FINALLY a full team with the addition of Reid and Rush.
The Eagles fall to 10-6 on the season but still will play in the playoffs starting next week. 2017 Marquez Hunt finished the night with 7 points. Hunt will need to entertain the junior college route for next season.
