MVP| Devin King | Parkville ’17
Devin King finished the game with 16 points which included two 3-pointers and going 6/8 from the charity stripe. After missing his first two free-throw attempts in the first quarter, King cashed in on all six of his attempts in the fourth to help put the nail in the coffin. 11 of his 16 points came in the fourth quarter.
Best Offensive Performance| Breon Williams | Parkville ’17
Breon Williams also ended the game with 16 points for the Knights. Bel Air struggled to guard in man-to-man defense, so they switched to a 3-2 zone. That’s where Williams caught fire in the right corner. He knocked down three of his four long-balls in the fourth quarter which helped contribute to the Knights posting 33 points in the frame.
Best Defensive Performance| Kameron Brooks | Parkville ’17
Kameron Brooks gave Bel Air nightmares as the Knights put on a full-court press for the majority of the game. Brooks is a Division II football commit, so his instincts fit well with reading the passer’s eyes and anticipating steals. It resulted in multiple turnovers for the Bobcats and gave Parkville ample opportunities for quick baskets.

Best Guy Off The Bench| Quintuan Blizzard | Parkville ’19
The Knights got off to a slow start in the early first quarter, but once head coach Josh Czerski inserted Quintuan Blizzard off the bench, the energy changed dramatically. The sophomore was the catalyst for offensive output as he took advantage of pick-and-rolls by forcing the Bobcats’ big man to switch. It resulted in a Blizzard penetration lay-up multiple times. Blizzard finished the game with seven points, but also made his presence felt in the press.
Best Under The Radar Performance| Daniel Webber | Bel Air ’17
With a lopsided score, Daniel Webber‘s performance could easily be overlooked, but he led the Bobcats with 11 points. The Knight overwhelmed the Bobcats with pressure, but Webber took advantage multiple times of Parkville’s delayed weak side help by taking his man off the dribble for mid-range shots.
Best Rebounder| David Ugochukwu | Parkville ’17
Bel Air had a lot more size inside than Parkville. David Ugochukwu is an undersized power foward, but his battle on the glass is relentless and sparked a plethora of fast break opportunities. His physicality caught the Bobcat frontcourt off guard a bit and was a big reason why he was able to successfully establish early position.
Best Catch-And-Shoot Guy| Breon Williams | Parkville ’17
As stated earlier, Williams caught fire from deep in the fourth. All of his three’s came on kick-outs from penetrating teammates in both half court sets and transition opportunities. Williams has previously had a 30-points first half performance against Towson High School that consisted of many similar shots. He finished this game with four made three’s.

Best Underclassmen| Daquan Reese | Parkville ’20
With the Junior Varsity season set in stone, Daquan Reese was pulled up to the Varsity team and played significant minutes in the win. He was the top guy in both the press and the Knights’ 1-3-1 defense. Reese finished with seven points, four of which came from steals because of his active hands defensively.
Best Intangibles| Lamontte Brown | Parkville ’17
Lamontte Brown has been the leader on and off the floor for Parkville throughout his senior campaign. Nothing changed in yesterday’s game. Brown chipped in with 13 points of his own, but his leadership and control of the offense is what makes the Knights successful when a game gets hectic.
Moving Forward
Bel Air’s season comes to an end with the loss. Parkville advances to take on the top team in Baltimore, Perry Hall high school, who is 21-2 on the season on Tuesday night.
