The Heathwood HalL Highlanders won the nightcap over the Laurence Manning Swampcats 61-57 to advance to the Final 4 on Friday. The Highlanders will now play Porter Gaud. Matt Lee led the Highlanders with 24 points in the victory tonight.
Play of the Game : Cameron Singleton (2018) and Nazir Andino (2019) – Laurence Manning Academy
Singleton and Andino kept the Swampcats in the game in the 1st half. The duo was a perfect 7-7 from three point range. Heathwood Hall led 27-25 at halftime.
Best Offensive Performance : Matt Lee – Heathwood Hall (2018)
Lee came up with big shot or a basket every time when the Highlanders needed one tonight. Lee had 13 points by halftime last night.
Best Defensive Performance : Josh Caldwell – Heathwood Hall (2017)
Caldwell is just always around the ball and creating havoc on the floor. Caldwell with at West Point (Army) next season.

Best Intangibles : Jerrel Kelly – Laurence Manning Academy (2018)
Kelly stands at 6’8 for the Swampcats. Kelly a lefthanded post player came to life in the 2nd half for the Swampcats. Kelly finished with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks in the loss.
Nazir Andino
Best Guy off the Bench : Nazir Andino – Laurence Manning Academy (2019)
Andino came off the bench to score 17 points for the Swampcats. Andino 5’10 connected on 4 three pointers in the first half.
Best Under the Radar Performance : Terrell Houston – Laurence Manning Academy (2018)
Houston kept the Swampcats in the game in the 2nd half and finished with 14 points. Houston really attacked the basket well.
Best Underclassmen : Isaiah Caldwell – Heathwood Hall (2020)
Caldwell is a left-handed slender sleek wing player for the Highlanders. Caldwell the younger brother of Josh comes off the bench as the 6th man for the Highlanders.
Best Project to Watch : Cameron Singleton – Laurence Manning Academy (2018)
Singleton got eligible at the semester for the Swampcats after transferring in from nearby Sumter HS. Singleton is a emotional point guard that has the grit and desire to win. Singleton will team up with Andino and Houston next season in the Swampcats back court.

Laurence Manning Academy finishes the season with a (24-8) under Head Coach Will Epps.
Heathwood Hall doesn’t start a player over 6’2 in starting lineup. The Highlanders move to (18-8) on the season.
