Hunter Erickson 6-3 JR Guard (Timpview) has proven he is a legit mid major division one prospect. He is averaging over 21 points per game for the first place Thunderbirds. Erickson has the ability to knock down the three and break down his defender and finish at the rim.
Connor Fulton 6-4 SR Guard (Alta) has shown his all around game this season and his ability to to carry the load for the Hawks. He is averaging 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in leading the Hawks to a surprising 2-1 start in Region. Fulton holds an offer from the University of North Dakota and is hearing from several other D1 programs.
Braxton Bailey 6-6 SR Forward (Provo) has continued to dominate opposing defenses with his 22 point scoring average. Provo is the bottom dweller in Region 7 and Bailey will have to play even better if they have any chance at a play-off berth. Bailey is a good junior college prospect at the stretch forward position.
Michael Scheffner 6-2 SR Guard (Corner Canyon) has had some big games for the 2nd place Chargers. He is averaging over 20 points per game so far this season. Scheffner is good at powering his way to the basket and finishing. He is also a solid shooter from the outside. We have Scheffner as a small college prospect.
Matt Norman 6-3 SO Guard (Timpanogos) is the best sophomore in Region 7 and has really surprised a lot of people. He is averaging 16 points and has connected on 46 three pointers this season and is an elite shooter. If Norman can continue to improve his game he could be a D1 prospect in a couple of years.
Marcus Draney 6-3 SR Guard (Skyridge) has been pouring in big performances all year for the Falcons. He is averaging 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists so far this season. Draney is a big body guard who is really good at getting to the rim and finishes through contact. He is a good D2 and junior college prospect.
Kedrick Clayton 6-2 SR Guard (Mountain View) has been impressive for the Bruins this season. He is averging 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. Clayton is a good shooter from the three and is also able to get in the paint and score. He is a D2 and NAIA prospect and he could be a solid player at those levels.
Ross Revees 6-1 JR Guard (Orem) has been as huge surprise this year for the Tigers. He has been their top scorer and holds a 17 point per game average. Revees doesn’t look like much of a basketball player but he is able to shoot the three and get to the basket very well. If his body fills out he can be a solid D2 prospect.
