Sharone Wright Jr – West Florence (2018)
Wright Jr the son of a former NBA player and #6 overall in the NBA Draft. Wright didn’t play last night in a defeat to Carolina Forest. Wright Jr is ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Top 80. Wright Jr is averaging 15.5 ppg, 6.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.8 steals this season for the Knights.
Florida State, Virginia Commonwealth, Clemson, South Carolina, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Central Florida, Coastal Carolina and Kansas State has all shown strong interest in Wright Jr. according to Knights Head Coach Pete Ellis.
Jimmy Nichols – Conway (2018) (pictured)
Nichols just keeps getting better on a daily basis. Nichols a 6’7 left-handed post player has the Tigers off to a 14-4 start this season. Nichols really has a great skill set with his ability and length to defend the post. Nichols is a great interior passer.
Nichols helped the Tigers win the Panther Classic at Carolina Forest High School over the Christmas Holiday break.
Nichols has received interest this spring from Longwood, College of Charleston, East Carolina University, Presbyterian, Old Dominion, South Carolina State just to name a few.
Isaih Moore – Sumter (2018)
Moore plays for his father at Sumter High School. Moore relatively new on the scene this season has a bright future. Moore a small forward will play AAU with the Georgia Stars this spring. Moore is ranked #13 in the Prep Hoops Top 80.
Travion McCray – West Florence (2018) (pictured)
McCray a point guard transferred over to the Knights from nearby Timmonsville. McCray is a AAU member of Wright Jr. on the Karolina Khaos. McCray recently went over 1,000 points earlier this season including his time at Timmonsville.
McCray is averaging 12.5 ppg, 7 rebounds and 5.5 assists this season for the 17-4 Knights. McCray is ranked #14 in the Prep Hoops Top 80. Stetson and South Carolina State have offered McCray according to Ellis.
Juan Perez – West Florence (2018)
Perez is a blue collar post player for the Knights. Perez is a 6’6 post player. Perez is currently averaging 6.5 ppg, 10.4 rebounds and 2 blocks per outing for the Knights. Perez runs AAU with the Karolina Khaos. Perez is ranked #35 in the Prep Hoops Top 80.
Darren Grainger – Conway (2018)
Grainger has yet to play a game this season after being injured in a car accident. Grainger is ranked #36 in the Prep Hoops Top 80 this year. Prep Hoops is looking forward to his return either during the season or on the AAU circuit this coming spring.
