Chris Wilson – West Florence (2017)
Wilson a 6’6 (250) post player has decided to commit to Charlotte next season for Football sccording to Knights Head Coach Pete Ellis. Wilson a strong defensive end on the gridiron is big player in the paint for the Knights. Wilson plays the Knights 16-3 basketball team.
Camryn Johnson – Calhoun County (2017) (Pictured)
Johnson touted as one of the best wide receivers in the state has committed to East Tennessee State University according to Times & Democrat Sports Editor Chris Clark. Johnson 6’4 played this season at Calhoun County after previously playing at nearby Lake Marion HS.
Johnson a member of the Saints 10-9 basketball team recently scored 30 points vs Allendale-Fairfax. Johnson a small forward visited East Tennessee State campus this past weekend according to Clark.
Johnson had 52 receptions -813 yards and 8 Touchdowns this season for the pass happy Saints.
Damon McDowell – Carolina Forest (2017)
McDowell ranked #40 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 is no longer with the team at Carolina Forest. McDowell a left-handed shooting guard left the team averaging 13.4 ppg and 4.7 rebounds this season.
Duane Moss – Carolina Forest (2017)
Moss a small forward had his season come to a end shortly after Christmas in Greenville, SC. Moss a Youngstown State University signee is ranked #8 in the Prep Hoops Top 125. Moss has been on the shelf ever since with a bad back. The Panthers are currently 8-11 on the season and in trouble of making the post season.
Moss was averaging 15.2 ppg and 8.6 rebounds this season before getting injured. Moss is the son of Coastal Carolina Assistant Coach Benny Moss.
