Deshawn Thomas 6’10 (2017) plays at AC Flora HS in Columbia. Thomas is ranked #22 in the 2017 class has ended his recruitment. Thomas told Prep Hoops that he will be attending Florida Southwestern State College next season. The Bucs a first year program are coached by Marty Richter. Thomas ran AAU with Garner Roads last summer.
Vince Cole 6’5 (2017) has transferred out of James Island High School and surfaced at York Prep Academy in Rock Hill. Cole started classes this week at York Prep. Cole is ranked number #12 and has signed with the College of Charleston for next season. Cole a wing player played AAU ball with Upward Stars SE this past summer.
Marquise Riley 6’3 (2017) is back on the court at Richland Northeast High School in Columbia. Riley a very athletic wing player recently joined the Cavaliers and played in the 2nd Annual MLK Bash this past Monday at Eau Claire HS. Riley played AAU with the Carolina Wolves and according to the coaching staff he will need to entertain junior college options for next season.
Kenley Vereen 5’11 (2018) is not on the court currently after recently moving back into the Palmetto State. Vereen is currently enrolled at Andrews HS. Vereen played last season at Waccamaw HS in Pawley’s Island. Vereen averaged 13.8 ppg, 4 assists and 2.8 steals last season. Vereen connected on 36% (46-128) from three point range.
Vereen ran AAU with SC Coastal Elite last summer
