“Crafty point guard,” said Hubb when asked what type of player he thinks he is. “I’m able to find my teammates and shoot the ball.”
Hubb has clearly taken his game to another level since last season. Featured alongside Nate Watson, Naji Marshall, Elijah Clarance, and Quinton Drayton among others, Hubb led DC Premier to wins over some of the top teams on the UAA Circuit.
“Ball handling and shooting off the dribble most improved,” said Hubb. “I Need to work mainly on getting stronger and being more of a leader. Also, when I’m coming off screens, shooting more consistently off the dribble.”
Hubb leads Gonzaga in assists. He believes that his vision and playmaking ability might be one of his most underrated qualities.
“I my teammates well. I have a good basketball IQ,” he stated.
Notre Dame, Seton Hall, Maryland, Villanova, Baylor, Virginia, Georgetown, and NC State are among the host of high majors who are involved in Hubb’s recruitment.
“I might cut my list soon, not sure yet though,” Hubb replied when asked which schools are pursuing him the hardest.
What can a college coach expect from Hubb at the next level?
“Lots of energy. Be able to defend multiple positions and being able to score.”
