He has made considerable improvement in his perimeter game especially with his ball handling. Hunt makes attacks off the bounce that a year ago he couldn’t have made. With his strong body he can take a bump at the rim. Works great out of the mid-post. Plus rebounder that competes against bigger opponents. Hunt should be a priority guy at the D3/NAIA level that could sneak into D2 consideration.
Hunt spoke about his team this year.
“We have a lot of new pieces that came in and a lot of young guys that moved up from JV last year. We are trying to figure out how to gel.”
What is his role on the team?
“I see my role being the heartbeat of the team. Influence the game not only with scoring and rebounding, but being an all-around player and helping my team win.”
Hunt spoke about his game.
“I am a versatile player. I can pass when getting double teamed. I have a nice low-post game. I can shoot it a little bit.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“It is pretty slow right now, but I have heard from Lipscomb, UIC, and Northwood.”
