“I’m mainly a big man. Post game,” Said Timmons, who says he’s been playing basketball since he was about 8 years old.
Timmons is averaging 10.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game so far this season. Timmons continues to improve on the offensive end, where he is shooting an impressive 57% from the field.
“My post skills are definitely the most improved part of my game. They’ve developed throughout my high school career so far.”
We saw Timmons record 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks in a win earlier this season.Timmons believes he’s an underrated shooter who can comfortably hit shots from the mid range areas of the floor. If there’s one thing he needs to work on, it’s probably his foul shooting. Timmons is relatively unknown in recruiting circles, but that could change if he continues to work hard and do well in school.
“I get A’s and B’s.”
What can a coach interested in recruiting Timmons expect from him at the next level?
“I definitely think I can bring size and I’m coachable.”
