The eldest Galloway is a freshman on the College of Charleston basketball team. Braden, a junior is on his way to joining his brother as a college basketball player. PrepHoopsSC had the chance to talk to the 6-foot-4 guard this week and discuss recruitment, the season and what is in store for the next few months.
PrepHoopsSC: How’s your season going so far?
Braden Galloway: It’s going pretty good. We are 10-3, and we keep getting better and better.
PrepHoopsSC: What are you averaging and what schools have you been hearing from?
Braden Galloway: I’m averaging 22.6 points and 9 rebounds a game.
PrepHoopsSC: What are some things that you need to improve on for the next level?
Braden Galloway: Ball handling, it’s good, but it always can be better, and playing both ends of the court w the same energy.
PrepHoopsSC: What are your goals for the rest of the season?
Braden Galloway: Main goal is a state championship, but to get there, we need to be region champs, and continue to play hard even if our opponent isn’t as good as us.
PrepHoopsSC: What schools have you been hearing the most from?
Braden Galloway: Recruitment has been going pretty slowly for me, I talked to Troy and Tulane recently but that’s about it.
