JR Cison (St. Viator)
The 5’11” point guard is a hard-nosed floor general that plays with toughness and flare. Crisp passer that dishes the rock well in the half court especially in pick and roll situations. Tight handles and he keeps it well through traffic in the lane. Plus mid-range shooter that can stop and pop from 15-18 feet with consistency. Can stretch it out to three on occasion. Like the swagger that this kid plays with.
Detalian Brown (Morton)
Very intrigued with this 6’1” sophomore combo guard. Brown has the ability to run the point some, but is also a scorer. Fluid athlete that looks comfortable on a big court playing against older players. Has solid strength and projectability in his frame. Gets after it on the defensive end of the floor with his tenacity. Handles it well against pressure and initiates the offense when playing on the ball. Finishes well in the lane and can hit an occasional jumper.
Jaheim Holden (Evanston)
The athletic and heady point guard gets in the lane with his quick handles and scores in the paint with acrobatic layups. Crafty defender that moves well laterally. Very active hands. One to continue to track.
