Simmons is just Mr.Clutch down the stretch for the Raiders. Simmons woke up in the second half and sparked the Raiders to a 53-49 overtime victory over the Gators. Simmons finished the day with 18 points. Simmons is ranked #6 in the 2017 and remains open in his recruitment. Simmons currently has scored 1,575 career points heading down the stretch of his high school career.

Simmons hit a mid-range jumper to give the Raiders there first lead of the game at 38-37 with 4:11 left.
Best Offensive Performance : Rodriquez Marshall – Keenan (2017)
Marshall was huge spark for the Raiders in the 2nd half. Marshall hit some big shots off the bounce to get the Raiders going. Marshall sets the table for the Raiders and makes his teammates happy with what he does for the team to win. Marshall had 10 points in the victory.
Best Defensive Performance : The Keenan team
The Raiders were down 28-20 at halftime. The Raiders held the Gators over 9 minutes scoreless when down 37-24 before taking a lead at 38-37 with 4:11 left.
Best Intangibles : Juwan Perdue – Lakewood (2019)
Perdue has a bright future for the Gators. Perdue a versatile left-handed forward should see plenty of recruitment down the road. Perdue scored 11 points today.
Best Guy off the Bench : Ahkeem Lawson – Lakewood (2018)
Lawson a left-handed power forward has really gotten better during the season and played more assertive for the Gators. Lawson finished with 8 points and several rebounds today.
Best Under the Radar Performance : Malik Wilson – Lakewood (2017)
Wilson has no true position on the floor. Wilson a bit of a hybrid just brings great energy and intensity to the floor every time out. Wilson finished with 11 points and knocked down a few three pointers and mid-range jumpers.
Best Underclassmen : Juwan Perdue – Lakewood (2019)
Perdue really showed flashes today of what type of player he can be down the road. Perdue was extremely aggressive on the defensive end today and played both sides of the court very well.
Best Project to Watch : Ervin Stone – Keenan (2018)
Stone starts the Raiders and does all the blue collar work stuff to keep him in the game. Stone has a very mature look for a 6’4 forward.
Best Takeaway :
The Keenan Raiders improve to 13-4 on the season and will always be in the game until the whistle blows. Head Coach Zach Norris demands so much out of his players and they will absolutely run through a wall for him.
The Lakewood Gators (11-5) have played 16 games on the season and keep in mind 13 of them have been on the road.
