Match-up to watch: Park Hill South vs. Lincoln
Lincoln Prep is a pretty solid unseeded team and they have a really good player in Steven Dulley, one of the Kansas City area’s top uncommitted players. On the other hand, Park Hill South has some tough guards though and are off to a big start to the season.
Favorite: Lee’s Summit West
Team has a win over Blue Valley Northwest, one of the top teams in Kansas, already to its credit and as well as a win over Kickapoo, one of the top teams in SWMO. They are loaded with talent with at least three future Division I basketball players on its roster. They feature size, athleticism, and great guard play. This however is a really tough field of teams and several of the other teams in their bracket could sneak up on them if they don’t play well.
Challenger: Park Hill South
Have to have one of the better backcourts in all of KC with Lamel Robinon, Desi Williams and xx. If those guys are on their game — look out. Team is already 6-1, with its only loss to Liberty.
Darkhorse: Oark Park
Unseeded squad that has had some good moments this season and have a pair of talented guards in Ochai Agbaji and Kaden Evans. Those two will need to play some of their ball to have a chance, but are certainly capable.
