Jacob Jones – 5’7/PG/2020 – Jeffersonville – Jones is an undersized point guard with some solid speed and good handles. He also has a jump shot that works well because of his height he gets and high release. Good weapon for him on offense because he’s not a guy that showed the willingness to attack the lane and create. Did a little bit in the open floor but still has a little hesitancy in his game.
Tre Coleman – 6’4/SF/2020 – Jeffersonville – Coleman is a tall wing with a great frame and some strength already attached. He’s really solid on the interior where he knows how to post up and showed a couple up and under moves with a little success. He’s just aggressive and for him being a freshman, he showed an assertiveness that you don’t see in kids this age. He is likely to get pushed out more to the wing as he grows. His post play though is solid on both ends of the floor. His rebounding might be the best of the bunch. He’s great at reading it off the rim and has the ability to track it down pretty well.
Garrott Ott-Large – 6’2/SG/2020 – LaPorte – Garrott is a big guard who can stroke it from deep. He’s got legit size from the wing and can shoot at a high level. His agility and athleticism are a little behind right now but it is within reach. He’s not a guy right now that is going to do much off the bounce, but as that athleticism improves, he’s got a chance to build upon his game against upperclassmen as he starts for LaPorte.
Bailey Conrad – 6’4/PF/2020 – Christian Academy – Conrad is a well built forward who shows enough handles to play in transition and make moves but he did struggle a bit against the athleticism of Scecina. He’s mobile but lacks a little quickness. Hands are okay and he seems to understand how to make plays. Showed a willingness to make plays off the bounce and was getting in on some boards as well. Needs a little more fluidity and a sharper handle and he could start being a really solid prospect.
