Multiple high school events will be taking place in the summer months including the IBCA Top 100 workout, the Charlie Hughes Showcase, plus multiple summer leagues. Prep Hoops Indiana will be out in full force all month watching multiple high schools prospects across the board. Let’s go ahead and take a look at four 2025 Cs that are on my watch list for the summer.
Renn is an interesting prospect because you could classify him as either a power forward or center but either way, the Terre Haute North prospect needed to be one of my players to watch this summer. He is one of the more lankier post players you will see in the entire state and has really started to become more improved on both ends of the floor. Uses his length well as a rim protecter while also playing with some underrated bounce on the offensive end. He still needs to get stronger, but he has got a chance to breakout this summer.
Highlights
The 6’8 NorthWood prospect makes a strong case as the best center in the Indiana high school class of 2025. Raasch is a very good shot blocker, runs the floor well, and has burgeoning offensive ability. Out of all the centers in the in-state 2025 class, I think Raasch has the most long term potential out of all of them. He has also improved in stretching the floor as well, which is only going to take his game to a new level.
The 6’8 center for Ben Davis may have the most upside out of all the centers in the Indiana high school class of 2025. His size and strength around the basket is his biggest advantage while also being one of the more athletic centers we have in the state as well. He had a pretty solid junior season for Ben Davis but will be looking to take the next step this summer as an overall player.
Out of all the centers in the class of 2025, Sission has had one of the best starts to all of them playing with Indiana Legacy Ice Elite 2025. He had a strong showing at Run-N-Slam last weekend with his ntriguing catch-and-shoot and pick-and-pop ability on the perimeter to go along with a big, strong frame. He is another player you could argue whether he is a power forward or center but either way, he has earned his place as one of the bigs to watch this summer.
