He’s started to see some interest come in, of the Division III variety.
“A lot of smaller schools like Spring Arbor, Olivet and Oberlin have been in contact with me. I visited Spring Arbor and I plan to visit Olivet soon,” said Temple, who elaborated on his Spring Arbor visit.
“They have a really nice program. A lot like my high school program right now.”
Michigan’s 124th-ranked 2017, Temple says he’d like to see some higher level interest come in.
“I wouldn’t mind it (playing D3 basketball),” he said. “But I’m looking for something more than D3.”
Temple mentioned to PHMI what he’s been working to improve since we talked with him last spring.
“I’ve been working on really everything, and mainly being a better playmaker for myself and for others,” he said. “And just knowing when’s the best time to attack, and when it’s best to facilitate to my teammates.”
Now a senior with the Eagles, he’s is ready to take the reins as the team’s senior leader.
“I have a bigger leadership role this season. I need to make sure everyone knows what they’re doing and that we’re doing what we’re supposed to do,” said Temple.
“And I just want to hopefully finish the season with an offer.”
