He can still do what he has for years which is shoot it from the perimeter. Kizer has a pure stroke out to the three point line. Would like to see more out of him beyond shooting. If he can add some diversity to his game he could be intriguing.
How was July with the Illinois Irish 16U?
“Really well. Everybody played hard and got a lot better. Coaches helped us.”
He has noticeably gotten a lot stronger.
“I did football this year and got stronger. I am at 225 pounds now. I could always shoot the ball, but I wanted to get stronger so I could get more rebounds and get to the rim better.”
Kizer spoke about his game.
“I see myself as a stretch four. I can step out and shoot, but also rebound. I can shoot it. I like to step out, but I like to attack the rim. Now that I have gotten bigger I like to post up and get to the bucket.”
He likes his team this year at Limestone.
“We are a really athletic team. We have a young team and athletic. Good IQ for the game.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“Maryville has talked to me. I went on a visit to Bradley. I talk to Western Illinois too.”
