Gets after it on the defensive end with his quickness and lateral mobility. Offensively flashes skill including passing it well for a wing and can hit a jumper on occasion. His game however is based on his raw athleticism and explosion around the hoop and in transition. Thompson is a transfer from California. He says he feels people don’t know about him because of that.
“I am under the radar. People doubt me because I am not from here. Look out for me.”
What are the strengths of his game?
“I feel like I am a good rebounder and creating shots for my teammates.”
Thompson says a pair of D1 schools have showed some interest in him.
“A lot of schools, but the schools showing the most interest are Wyoming and San Diego State.”
