<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Scan the list of available wings in the DMV, and you won't find too many who can match the versatility and quality of<strong> Raidell de Pree</strong>. A native of the Netherlands, de Pree is already making an impact in his first year with St. Mary's Ryken.</span>
<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">"I’m a quality shooter, athletic, and high IQ player," said de Pree, who recalls playing the game for the first time around age 12. "My passing is underrated."</span>
<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">De Pree was a point guard for the Netherlands in the <a href="http://www.fiba.com/europe/u20/2016/Raidell-DE-PREE">2016 FIBA U-20 European Championship</a>, where he had plenty of opportunity to improve his ball handling, which was a focus of his.</span>
<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">"I need to work on being more aggressive on the court," said de Pree about what type of adjustments he needs to make as he transitions into the style of basketball in America.</span>
<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">He's still relatively unknown in most recruiting circles, but de Pree can really impact the game in a number of areas on both ends. At 6'5, he's a strong bodied wing who can defend at a high level and shoot with consistency and range.</span>
<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">"I’ll b e a big part on offense and defense," de Pree said about his role this year with Ryken. "I'm probably one of the best defenders on the team and one of the better shooters."</span>
<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">What can coaches who are recruiting de Pree expect him to bring to their program?</span>
<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">"Max energy level. Always working hard," he began. "I’m a quality player. I’ll be able to contribute on the court. Get the team a better position to win."</span>
