Chance Coyle – 6’3/SG/2018 – Bloomington South – This was the best version of Coyle we had seen. It looked like a true two-guard who could make every shot he wanted and some of them were really tough. He was doing a good job creating off the bounce, doing it on the arc and in the mid-range. He looked like he was a bit more confident in his ability to handle and create with some effectiveness. He had a great pull-back fadeaway three which was about the toughest shot taken and made this holiday break. We wanted to see him really look to attack and be the leader on the offensive end and we got it.
Tyree Pegues – 5’9/PG/2018 – Indianapolis Pike – Pegues has had a few games here this year where you see how he could start to break out. He’s a smaller guard but built well with strength and today he showed that he might be a better shooter down the road. He hit 3 triples and scored 20 points against Fishers. He’s really good when in transition but doesn’t have that elite speed to create in the mid-range at a high-level, so adding in a jumper that can be a weapon for him every game would really go a long way.
Jamil Turner-Hall – 6’1/PG/2018 – Fishers – Jamil has really started to turn a corner in his development. He’s really improved his jumper, now to the point where it is a big weapon for him if he decides to use.The other area of the game that is really shooting up in games is his toughness on his drives. I love that he can be more physical and finish through contact. That has really allowed him to be a big threat on the offensive end. With all that being said, he’s still a legit point guard who shows a good balance of leadership and scoring without taking over the offense.
Trey Vincent – 6’1/PG/2018 – Columbus North – Trey really seemed to take a step forward as a shooter. He ripped off a few early in the game and he had pretty solid form and elevated well. He’s got a bit of size but lean and a little bit quicker than he was a year ago. As a point guard, he seemed to do well and was a facilitator but didn’t have a ton of help offensively so he did push the envelope a bit. Really want to see him become a better rebounder from the guard spot.
